Bear Unnecessary - What's Up With Reality Star Stephen?

Bear pops out for some necessities 

It’s safe to say that 2021 hasn’t been a great year so far for most of the globe but even more so for reality star Stephen Bear. Crashing onto our screens back in 2011 on Channel 4’s Shipwrecked, 31-year-old Bear went on to feature in MTV’s Ex On The Beach and then most famously winning Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.

Off to shaky start

The year didn’t start off well for Bear with his arrest by police as he got back to the UK from Dubai in January and is currently on bail until the first week of Feb. The charge? According to his YouTube channel, ’harassment, exposure, voyeurism and obstructing an officer’ and yet the police have said no charges were brought.

In a classic example of less is more, he also filmed himself when he was taken to the police station appearing to not want to wear a mask prompting critics to declare… ‘and he doesn’t even wear a mask in a police station!’

Bear is currently filming a self-funded documentary series for his YouTube channel comparing himself to explorer Captain Cook in one video as the police have his passport prohibiting him from travelling and continuing his travel-based show. In the trailer for Life of Bear he’s seen working out his impressive torso and grabbing his crotch bulge in his underwear.

Accused and arrested 

So where did all this come from? It all started when reality star ex-girlfriend accused him of posting explicit pics and videos of her online in a case of revenge porn. He was arrested on January 15^th and had this to say on the spectacle:

Does a bear shit in the woods? No, on the beach!

"When I arrived on the 15 January I was going to surprise my mum - I had four police officers waiting for me at the airport. They handcuffed me, it was quite embarrassing actually." He went onto say: "I got questioned twice. I was in the cell for 14 hours, 15 hours on my birthday. While I was in the police cell they have gone into my house, smashed open the door. I've had to get everything fixed - they've busted my front gate too."

He was then accused of breaking quarantine when he was spotted at his local Marks & Spencer’s two days after returned form Dubai. The lesson surely is here not to document your every move in a reality show of your own creation. Hey, things could be worse, he could be Armie Hammer right now.
