Mark Wahlberg keeps giant bulge

Mark Wahlberg presents in a still from 97's Boogie Nights

In a new interview with Ellen Degeneres about his latest movie Father Stu, actor Mark Wahlberg has revealed that he kept the fake giant member he wore in the 1997 Paul Thomas Anderson's Boogie Nights.

Bloke bulge

Back when Boogie Nights came out in 1997, it was a size queen's dream. Film lovers as well, of course, but it was all about Mark Wahlberg's character Dirk Diggler blessed with a huge penis working in porn in the 70s. Well, despite since 'asking God for forgiveness' for making the movie, Wahlberg has said he kept the prosthesis as a memento. Who can blame him? What man doesn’t want a big bulge in his pants for all the boys and girls to see?

No accounting for taste with these scruds but it's what's inside that counts

A few years ago, in a conversation about his Catholic faith, he said: “I just always hope that God is a movie fan and also forgiving, because I’ve made some poor choices in my past”. When pressed which movies in particular, he said: “Boogie Nights is up there at the top of the list.”

For God's sake

Despite this, he seems to have an affinity with the massive penis prosthetic (SHOCKER) and when asked about it on the Ellen show this week, Mark said: 'Yes. It's in a safe, locked away. It's not something I can leave out. All of the sudden my kids are looking for the spare phone charger and pull that thing out."

It's his Catholic faith though that drove him to make his latest flick Father Stu. It's a religious biopic (wait, come back!) and Mark has sunk millions of his own money into it. Also starring Mel Gibson (who's Passion of the Christ movie inspired Wahlberg to sink his own dosh into the project) the film is out now.

Ok fine TWO vintage pics then! Phwoar.

Reviews haven't been great with one in particular remarking on the film's "unwavering vision of Christianity not as a means to achieve spiritual enlightenment or redemption, but as a punitive, Old Testament force that sees all people as sinners and thus deserving of all the punishment they receive".

Sounds like a blast! Maybe swerve that one and watch Boogie Nights which is utterly sinful, sexy and also stars the incredible Julianna Moore. It’s a sexy film without being smutty and is a career high for Wahlberg even if he disagrees. Praise be.
