Well he does come from Holywood, Sp?

That's right, Jamie Dornan is actually from a placed called Holywood, Holy with 1 'L' being a small town in County Down, Northern Ireland not the sun-kissed East Coast of the United States. 

The matter of a missing letter aside, Jamie was surely set for fame at an early age. 

You can find a few very short clips of the show on YouTube, however, sadly the full length programme, along with the fait of Dornan who was auditioning for a skin care ad from what we can tell is unknown.  

From humble beggings with British broadcaster Channel 4 who knew this cute little lad would go on to the dizzying heights of stardom and even be labelled as The Golden Torso by the New York Times. Well, he did.

That's right, authorised. The 20 / 21 year old fresh out of his teens stripped off, showing his slim and toned body, with beautifully defined abs.

In the ninties and noughties Abercrombie & Fitch the twink / jock model producing powerhouse would release a quarterly magazine under the title A&F Quarterly. 

The printed pages would for each edition fall under a theme, and under the lens of top photographer Bruce Webber the 2003 edition entitled 'Back to School' featured a totally naked Jamie Dornan on the cover and strewn across pages inside.

Did you know JD toured with KT.... Tunstall, a pop-up star who while wasn't quite a one hit wonder, didn't hang around too long. You might remember her hit Suddenly I See or her punk rock-chick image strumming a guitar and wearing skinny jeans.

After Jamie's musical ambitions were laid to rest, Hollywood with 2 L's was calling.

 

Jamie Dornan - Not Just Calvin Klein Underwear

It's well known that Jamie Dornan was a Calvin Klein underwear model. You will probably remember the half nudes featuring the actor alongside Kate Moss & Eva Mendes along other female models. Although, Jamie performed plenty a solo shoot too. 

This isn't the first time we've cast our eye of CK models - remember Marky Mark?

Whilst Jamie must smell like Hugo Boss these days (we presume the brand gave him a life time supply) back in his teenage years it was a different smell. 

Speaking with Dino Bonacic at London's Claridges Hotel for 10 Magazine, Dornan recounts when asked what scent reminds him of his 'youth' Jamie relies:

"I grew up right by the beach in Northern Ireland, outside Belfast. It’s maybe not the sort of beach that you conjure up in your mind when you think of a beach, but it’s quite a lovely one. That smell of the sea, the ocean, no matter where I am in the world still just takes me home instantly, and makes me feel very serene and happy. But fragrance wise, it’s the hand-me-downs from my dad that I used to wear. Back in the 1980s and 1990s when people weren’t that much into fragrances yet, with men particularly there wasn’t much choice. A lot of men used to wear Old Spice..."

I think it's a fair presumption to make that most men have tried Old Spice aftershave at least once in their life.
