We recently wrote at length about the Only Fans phenomenon which got more than a boost in fortunes globally thanks to the pandemic. Whilst fetishes in porn are nothing new and in fact make sure that most preferences are catered for, it seems boundaries were pushed even further this week on the amateur porn platform. Step up Jake Herbert, the latest in a long line of straight bait Only Fans creators who see pink pound signs when they open their phones.

At 6’5 he’s certainly an imposing character but there are plenty of those on Only Fans, what you need is a gimmick. You need something to set you apart from all the other guys on there that are going to masturbate and talk dirty to the camera to really propel you into the big bucks. In a shocking (or could it be masterful) turn of events, Mr Herbert decided to get his Dad in on his Only Fans gig. Whilst Jake does frontal nude, Daddy just gets his backside out. Interviewed for website The Tab, he says ‘‘I knew it would cause a fuss’ and he wasn’t wrong.

A quick scroll through his Twitter feed and we find that it is 18 plus and blatantly NSFW but ultimately acts as a portal to his (and his dad’s) Only Fans page where all the money is. He says on his page ‘Furthest me and my dad would go is… well, you’ll have to subscribe to see’ as he tantalises us with the prospect of what…? Incest?

Daddy and son porn is no new thing and ultimately, it’s more about roles than it is about actual fathers engaging in sex with their sons which of course is illegal. Under UK law, having sex with someone in your immediate family is against the law so surely by suggesting it, he is trailing something that could get the both of them banged up.

Treading a fine line

As consenting adults of course, it’s not illegal for them to wank together or to have a threesome with a third party. Herbert is straight and uses all the gay hashtags in order to get himself noticed and drive traffic to his Only Fans page. By suggesting his dad might be getting involved in his page, he’s tapping into depths as yet un-plumbed. Of course, it’s just conjecture and without seeing the content of his page you won’t find out, which is where he is savvy. The problem is, ask yourself why it is you’d be paying for that.

The whole grey area is triggering for a lot of LGBT+ people who might have had terrible experiences with abuse in the past. Should this be exploited so Jake can make a quick buck? We‘re quite sure that wouldn’t even cross his mind but maybe that’s because he’s been lucky enough not to have experienced anything untoward from a family member or older man.

You don’t have to look far on Pornhub to find ‘twins’ or ‘brothers’ whether it’s staged or in fact real. The American identical twin Stax brothers in particular are porn stars that regularly have threesomes on camera. Is it the same thing with an actual birth father? And why would Jake feel the need to show pictures of himself as a child with his father to prove it was really him? While of course they are both consenting adults, he has seen a sharp rise in his earnings since he got pops involved and maybe we should be asking exactly why that is.
